Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is a famous American model, fashion designer and actress. In 1990, shortly after starting her career as model, Suvari began to act in television programs such as Boy Meets World. She debuted in film with the show Nowhere which was that was released in the year 1997. She made the transition to major roles with her performances in American Beauty for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered more attention. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000) which was a co-production with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the lead character for the film Sugar & Spice (2002). Spun, a independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers were also part of her professional career. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari appeared in various films including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and as the film adaption of The Garden of Eden.
